Role Overview

SAP FICO Lead | Dublin (Hybrid)

Our client is looking for an experienced SAP Finance professional to take ownership of their SAP Finance landscape within a growing international business.

Working closely with Finance, Technology and an outsourced SAP support partner, you’ll play a key role in shaping the SAP roadmap, driving continuous improvement and ensuring the platform continues to evolve to support business growth.

This is a broad role that combines strategic planning, stakeholder engagement and solution design with oversight of day-to-day support and project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Act as the functional owner for SAP Finance.
• Partner with Finance stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Define and prioritise the SAP Finance roadmap.
• Manage the relationship with the external SAP support partner.
• Review, challenge and approve solution designs and enhancements.
• Support SAP projects, upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities to leverage new SAP capabilities.
• Ensure solutions align with business objectives and Finance best practice.

About You

We’re looking for someone who combines strong SAP Finance expertise with excellent stakeholder management skills.

You’ll ideally have:

• 10+ years’ SAP Finance experience.
• Strong SAP FICO / S/4HANA knowledge.
• Experience delivering SAP implementations or major transformation programmes.
• End-user experience within a complex organisation.
• Previous consulting or implementation experience.
• Strong understanding of Finance business processes.
• Experience working with outsourced SAP support partners.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
