Are you a commercially driven National Account Manager with a passion for building brands and growing retail partnerships?
We’re partnering with a leading Irish consumer goods business that’s continuing to invest in its Health & Beauty portfolio. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a portfolio of major retail and convenience accounts, driving commercial growth through strong customer relationships, strategic planning and flawless execution.
Working closely with Brand, Trade Marketing, Finance and Business Development teams, you’ll play a key role in delivering ambitious sales targets while helping shape the future growth of a portfolio of well-known consumer brands.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with key retail and convenience customers.
- Build and deliver Joint Business Plans to drive profitable growth across your account portfolio.
- Identify opportunities to increase distribution, product listings and market presence.
- Deliver revenue, sales and distribution targets in line with agreed budgets.
- Manage pricing, promotional activity and trade spend to maximise commercial performance.
- Produce accurate sales forecasts and use commercial insights to identify growth opportunities.
- Partner closely with Brand, Trade Marketing and Finance teams to deliver impactful customer plans.
- Analyse performance data and recommend actions to continually improve results.
- Support and mentor colleagues while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing commercial team.
About You
- Proven experience managing national or key retail accounts within FMCG, consumer goods, health & beauty or a related sector.
- Experience working with major multiples such as Dunne’s, Tesco, Musgraves very advantageous
- Strong commercial acumen with experience delivering sales and revenue growth.
- Confident negotiating with retail buyers and developing long-term customer partnerships.
- Comfortable managing pricing, forecasting, promotions and trade investment.
- Highly analytical with the ability to turn data into commercial actions.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Self-motivated, organised and able to thrive in a fast-paced commercial environment.
- Degree qualified in Business or a related discipline is desirable, although relevant commercial experience will also be considered.
